Assignment #1

Hi everyone :). my name's Samantha and this is my first time blogging. I'm at my best friend's house right now asking her all these questions because i have no idea what I'm doing, ha ha. I'm starting to warm up to the idea though. I think blogging is a great idea and is definitely more fun than doing writing assignments all the time. But anyway, I think the most interesting thing we did this year was teaching the class about a short story. I really enjoyed doing that because it gave me a chance to actually be open and talk to the class from my own point of view. I'm looking forward to blogging about A Doll's House, I'm excited :D. The author of A Doll's House is Henrik Ibsen. He had a poor childhood life but then he started to work as he grew older. He wrote plays starting at the age of 21. I just thought I should give you a glimpse on what his childhood was like. A Doll's House was originally written in Norwegian but was then translated into English which is what we're reading...obviously :). Well i really don't know what else to say, after all this is my first post and i will improve. But for now, ta ta :].
